Show Hall: North Augusta Activities Center, 100 Riverview Park Drive, North Augusta, South Carolina 29841-3593. The show hall is a non-smoking building, climate controlled, and handicapped accessible.

Show Hotel: We are pleased to have Best Western Plus as our show hotel. It is the former Ecco Suites, but has been totally remodeled! We have rooms blocked until July 21 so make your reservations early and don't miss out! Dble queen beds are $78 and King Suites with sofa sleepers are $88. We have toured the rooms and they are beautiful and all have large refrigerators and microwaves. They are brand new and have carpeting so TICA Hotel Room Policy will be used and rooms will be inspected before noon on Sunday! We do not want to jeopardize getting to offer this hotel. There will be a take-out breakfast (as of now) and there is an elevator. They have lowered the pet fee from $25 to $10 per stay for us! Please tent any cats that need it and don't groom on the carpeting! Here is the link for booking: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.11231.html?groupId=3U3EK8D7 The local telephone number is (706)733-4656, Their website is Augusta.EccoSuites.com. Any issues with booking contact Kim at the local number.

Transportation: Closest airport is AGS, Augusta, Georgia. We may be able to arrange pick up for out of town exhibitors. Please contact Sallie Dubay, (803) 257-1903 for more information.

Show Hours: Exhibitor check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM and judging will start promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised show hours for the Public will be 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days. All cats must remain in the show hall during advertised hours unless permission to leave is given by the Show Manager. No cats may be left in the show hall overnight.

Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information and forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 (email information@ticaeo.com) or viewed on their website at www.tica.org.

Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend or not. Entry fees are NOT refundable or transferable. ALL placeholders must have information furnished by the closing date, or the entry payment will be considered a donation to the club. We accept checks, money orders, bank cashier’s checks, or PayPal. No payments will be accepted at the door without written authorization from show management. There will be a $65 charge plus any related bank fees assessed for any check returned as not payable for any reason.             North Augusta, SC 29860

Registration: Preliminary & Advanced New Breeds and New Traits must be registered to enter and compete. All cats shown in the Kitten, Championship, and Alter classes must be TICA registered or must provide proof of eligibility for registration to compete. Contact the entry clerk for more information on how to enter your cat, kitten, or alter without at TICA registration number.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are not sure of the proper class or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or send the entry clerk a color photo of your entry. Photo will be returned at check in.

Health: This is a non-vetted show. Any cat showing signs of illness, parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall, along with any cats owned, housed or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calici and distemper (panleukopenia) at least two (2) weeks prior to the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV ("feline AIDS"). Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one (21) days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. Declawed cats are eligible for entry.

If you are staying at a hotel in the Augusta area, Georgia law requires any animal over the age of four (4) months to be vaccinated against rabies within the last twelve (12) months (be prepared to show proof). Regulations can be found here: http://agr.georgia.gov/00/article/0,2086,38902732_0_40630281,00.html

Benching: One (1) adult or two (2) kittens are allowed per single cage space. Each entry will be provided one cage space unless free space is included in the entry fee. A single cage space measures approximately 22" X 22" X 22". A double cage space measures 22” by 44” x 22” approximately. All cages must be covered on three sides. For the cat’s comfort we recommend that you provide a rug and a top cover. All cats and kittens in the show hall must have an assigned cage and no cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages during show hours. Any person disregarding this rule will be required to leave the show hall. Odd numbered entries MUST purchase an extra ½ cage (unless the entry fee specifically covers an extra half cage).

For Sale: Sales cages will be available to exhibitors.

Grooming spaces: These measure approximately 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches.

Services: Cat litter will be provided, bring your own litter pans, cat food and dishes.

Lunch: Food Truck TBA

Clerks: TICA Certified clerks will receive a free entry with double cage, lunch, and a marked email catalog. Please indicate on the Summary Sheet if you are interested in serving as a Ring Clerk. Do not deduct clerking fees from your entry. Requests for specific judges will be honored to the extent possible.
