Club questions

The following are questions that clubs might have.

👇 We want to put on a show. How does a club get a date on the show calendar?

  1. Make sure you have a chartered TICA club.
  2. Check the TICA calendar to see if the show date is available.
  3. Consider other shows that are going on in locations and dates near your considered date.
  4. Hosting shows too close in time and location to one another can impact the success of both shows.
  5. Reach out to the Southeast Regional director with your request. As long as there is no show currently scheduled on that weekend in the region, or within 500 miles of the planned location, the regional director cannot deny your request. (Show Rules 22.1.2.1)
  6. Add your show to the TICA show calendar (https://shows.tica.org/).

👇 What's this about renewing the club charter? Do I have to do that and if so when?

All Club Charters are due for renewal on May 1 each year. Renewals after May 31 are assessed a late renewal fine.

HINT: Do this on a laptop or desktop system. You need to fill in a PDF form to attach to the case. Downloading and saving a PDF form and then attaching it to the case might be more of a challenge on a phone or tablet.

  7. Enter your club name and any comments you want to send to the EO with your renewal.
